I grew up in Georgetown, Texas, and remember always running around watching my mom plant all sorts of plants. We had flower beds wrapped around the house, fruit trees, vegetable gardens, and plants everywhere. I was surrounded from the very beginning! When I was 14, I joined the FFA and was told I would be on the Horticulture team (we participated in career development events). Shortly after that, I got my first job at a local nursery. This is when I discovered my absolute passion for all things horticulture! I love to teach and give advice about plants whenever possible; just ask my friends! 

I've worked in the industry for over 20 years and started Daydreams Consulting in January 2021. I am always asked many of the same questions, so I wanted to make the answers more available. Also, I like sharing fun info and ideas that I learn along the way. Much of the information and advice I will share here is based on the central Texas climate and geology. From plate rock to black clay and from shorts on Christmas day to a snow-pocalypse on Valentine's, I've been there and learned from it! I have met so many sweet cats and dogs while out on consultations, and I just wanted to introduce y'all to mine! This is my sidekick, Indiana. She's a drama queen and so full of personality.
