Annuals and Tropicals

Annuals are the plants that you must replace every season, unless otherwise stated. Remember annuals are planted annually.

I will be adding more detailed information and pictures as I have time. This information will be found below this list.

Adding annuals and tropicals to your landscape can make a huge impact. Coleus is one of my favorites because of all the different foliage colors. There are about 10 in this picture. I like to put most of mine in pots and just tuck them in with the hardy plants. The annuals are replaced every year (10 Coleus may cost $15 - $30). My tropical plants are put in my greenhouse or brought inside during the winter. Some can simply be covered during a freeze and will recover in the spring.
