Height: 3 to 4 feet

Width: 3 to 5 feet

Seasonal Interest: Late summer to fall blooms; attractive gray-green foliage

Winter Look: Dies back in winter

Drought Tolerance: High, once established

Deer Resistance: Moderate to high

Attracts: Bees, butterflies, hummingbirds

Hardiness Zones: 7 to 11

Soil Requirements: Well-draining soil

pH Range: 6.0 to 8.0

Native To: Mexico and Central America

Potential Disease Issues: I haven't seen any issues with this one

Notes: Prune in early spring to encourage new growth. This is a plant that I like to cut back before it blooms, to keep it more controlled. Once the blooms start fading you can trim them and let new growth take over.
