The products that I love

These are my go-to products. I always have them and repurchase them whenever needed.

Amendments/Fertilizers

Cottonseed Meal - Acidifies soils to help release nutrients.

Medina HastaGro - Nearly 100% organic plant food. Use as a replacement for Miracle Gro.

Molasses - Feeds beneficial microbes, and that's just awesome!

NutriStar Fertilizers by Nelson Plant Food - This Texas company makes great fertilizers. They have blends made specifically for particular plants as well as an all-around good food for blooming plants called Color Star. They also have an organic line!

Seaweed - Makes any plant more resistant to any stress. What's not to love? I like to alternate this with HastaGro every week during the growing season.

Disease Treatments

Neem Oil - Insecticide, miticide, and fungicide for organic gardening. It's my go-to for most issues.

Microlife Brown Patch 5-1-3 - Has really turned my St. Augustine lawn around after using so many different fungicides and fertilizers that only seemed to make it worse. 

Weed Control

Horticultural Vinegar - Natural herbicide. I use 45%.

Ortho Nut Sedge Killer - Great stuff for nut grass.

Tools

Corona Classic Cut Bypass Pruners - they have a 3/4", a 1", and I think one more option for cutting capacity. These (usually the 3/4") have been the go-to for most nursery workers. They last a long time and feel good in your hand.

Fiskars Extended Pole Saw and Pruner Combo - This has been surprisingly easy to use for me. The saw cuts through branches so fast and is removable. The pruner is adjustable to cut at different angles. This thing is strong, too!

Fiskars PowerGear Bypass Loppers - These are awesome! They come in at least 2 different sizes. The gears multiply your leverage. This is super helpful to get through whatever you're cutting with less effort.
