AKA: Orange or Yellow Cestrum, Orange Zest, & Golden Jasmine

Native to: Guatemala

Lighting requirements: Full to part sun

Height: 3-6' (accounts of them reaching 12-15')

Width: 3-6' accounts of them reaching 6-8')

Attracts: Hummingbirds and butterflies

Hardiness Zones: 8-11

Soil requirements: Well-drained, tolerant of poor soils

pH range: Slightly acidic to alkaline

Drought tolerance: Tolerant once established

Deer Resistance: Resistant

Toxicity: Toxic to animals and humans if large quantities of foliage or berries are eaten

Notes: 

Can spread if happy. 

Leaves are said to have a wet-dog smell when crushed. 

The only one I've seen in someone's yard was in Sun City, TX. It was about 6' tall and 4' wide. We removed it because it was spreading underneath the weed barrier and trying to take over.
