Size: 2 to 3 feet tall and 1 to 2 feet wide

Lighting requirements: Full sun

Seasonal interest: Blooms summer through fall

Winter: Dies back

Soil requirements: Not too picky, but does prefer well-draining soils

This short-lived perennial attracts butterflies and bees. It is widely considered deer-resistant, but I seem to remember deer bothering them. If you have any insight on this, please share.Â
