Echinocactus grusonii

up to 3 feet - sun to part sun 

This cactus is planted here all the time, however, there is some debate on its cold hardiness. Some say it's hardy in our zone, but others claim it's only hardy in 9a (warmer zone).

I have a few clients with them in their landscapes, and they survived the February 2021 freeze, which dropped us down to zone 7a temperatures in some places.
